Just a quick reminder to finish reading the Yada Yada Prayer Group which we will be discussing at our February meeting; at the far right I have dates/times & location posted.
Also, for those of you who are reviewing books, please try to finish and email them to me by January 31st so that I will have time to publish them in the new Book Review Newsletter!
Until next time, happy reading :-)

Talk about a story that brings women from all walks of life together for one purpose. "The Yada Yada Prayer Group" is the first book in the series by Neta Jackson. Told from the 'middle class white' point of view of Jodi Baxter, it was easy for me to put myself into the story as her; and I learned, alongside her, about how life isn't the same for everyone, we all have different ways to worship and pray, and we all deserve Christ's sacrifice. No one knows what is going on in anothers head or life, and we really should treat others as we would like to be treated.
Wow Kathy, I like the way you said that. And it is so true, sometimes we forget and think that our way is the only way, people need to be more open-minded and sensitive to others. If we all share the same belief that Jesus died and rose again and that He is the Savior of the world, and no one can be saved unless they confess with their mouth that He is Lord, then we are all sisters and brothers in Christ. Denominations are just that! But a family of God is still a family!
New follower and wanted to let you know I too am obsessed with the series!
