It's 2017 and time to start a new book!
I was scrolling through my little blog here and feel so guilty that I haven't been keeping up as I did back when I started my blog/book club! I've been "collecting" lots of new books on my Kindle and I need to actually READ THEM! Can I get an "AMEN"?! I wonder how many of you do the same thing? I have thee best intentions - as I'm "collecting" these wonderful, interesting new Kindle Books - I'll read them this year...I won't let another year go by without reading at least 5 new books...I'll schedule them into daily slots of time...I'll make a list on a piece of paper and tape it to the wall for goodness sakes! Yikes! Too much TV, too much mindless busyness! Reading will give you knowledge and make you smarter ya know?! All of this information...beats the "information highway" lol
Every New Year I look over my blog and try to think of ways to regularly post, update as much as possible, and even change things around to make it more "user friendly" and just plain more interesting!
I really, truly DO love to read! And, when I'm actually doing it, I love to blog too!!
It's hard to believe that its already August! For those of us with kids still at home, school will be starting all over again! Is it just me or do the years go by faster and faster?!
As we are heading into Fall pick up a new book to read and join us here on this page for a discussion. I'll be posting an "Online Book Club Meeting" and would love for you to join us! Our book this month is a super fun read! I can't wait to discuss it with you all!
"All's Fair In Love and Cupcakes" by Betsy St. Amant is a fun, light read and the perfect way to jump into August! You can pick up a copy at most book stores but my favorite way to purchase books are on my Kindle. As of today, August 3rd, 2016, this book is only $1.99 for the Kindle version so get on over there and get your copy before prices go up!
Feel free to post comments and questions about our Online Book Club Meeting under this post:)
Lime Lighting Mary Connealy's Book, Swept Away (Trouble in Texas Book 1)
Mary Connealy is a wonderful book author who has just the right amount of mystery and comic relief while making sure the real spiritual matters are addressed in a realistic way. Nothing 'cheesy' about this author. Today's Christian Fiction book authors are trendy, and up to date on what's going on in our world today--without watering down the Truth! Gone are the super sappy, goodie-goodie type Christian books that no-one can really relate to! Grab this FREE eBook now on Amazon!
If you have a Kindle, and I highly recommend Kindle Paperwhite, there are ALWAYS FREE eBooks on Amazon.com (follow link for the latest free Kindle books in the Religious/Spiritual section...F.Y.I. just be advised that this section includes not only Christian titles but all kinds of 'spiritual' or otherwise 'religious' titles that are not Bible based. Here is where you need to read carefully the descriptions of the books and pay attention to the book publisher. Some of the best, noteworthy Christian book publishers are; Moody, Bethany House, David C. Cook, Zondervan, Thomas Nelson, and Waterbrook Press.)
Please look around my blog as I've updated Everything! I've posted a new list of Free eBooks from Amazon.com (Scroll down the list is on the Right Side) and I've posted some fun Book Trailer Video's (Scroll Waaaay Down the page)! There is even a video Interview of one of the Book Author's! I'm going to be including more videos of the author's because I think its really interesting to find out who they are and what makes them write the way they do!
Please stay awhile and look around and feel free to leave a comment below :)
