Time for another book giveaway!
There is a great story of how this book came into being...the author, Christa Parrish, was out on a run one day and saw a t-shirt in the bushes with what looked like a baby's face on it (it was actually Napoleon Dynamite, but anyways...lol) it made her think about what she would do if that was a newborn abandoned in the woods?! That was just the beginning idea for her new book, Watch Over Me. Here is a story teaser:
Benjamin Patil, a young deputy recently home from Afghanistan, finds a baby girl - just a few hours old - wrapped in a grocery bag and left in a S. Dakota cow pasture!! Police work hard to find the birth mother as Benjamin and his wife deal with real issues and pain in their lives. They discover that throughout their own struggles and problems God lovingly carries them and gives them new hope. As one review stated, "Christa's ability to write authentically about the human heart and genuine spiritual struggle sets her apart" from many of her contemporaries.
This story leaves you feeling hopeful about your own struggles and temptations that you may deal with and the ability of God to redeem us when it seems so unlikely.

They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength and they shall mount up on wings of eagles they run and not grow weary they walk and not faint... Isaiah 41:31
